Crimson Drafting and Design, LLC was founded in 2021 as a consulting firm to provide CAD design, drafting, and project engineering services.

We utilize the most up-to-date software to create models and drawings. With access to Inventor, Vault, and Fusion, we can work with your existing files or create new ones. We can model parts and assemblies and provide concise drawings for you or your team.

Founder and President
What is your vision? I am dedicated to helping you achieve it! From my first job as a delivery driver for a small pizzeria to owning my own business, I have learned that the most important aspect of every project, sale, or professional interaction is the client. Whether you are handing food through a drive thru window, or creating extensive layouts for a major industrial client, it is important to know who is at the receiving end of the deal. The second most important aspect is to be adaptable. How do you do that? Prepare ahead, stay organized, and be transparent.

History
I started my love of engineering as a child with Lincoln Logs and LEGOs. I could sit for hours creating custom houses, planes, and boats, and I was always intrigued by the instruction manuals' visuals. Fast forward to my second year of college, I took my first class learning Autocad 2D. From then on, I made CAD and 3D printing my hobby. I entered the world of professional engineering just before graduating college, moved to Arkansas, and ultimately decided I wanted to become a Project Manager. Moving back to Alabama in late 2020 for my wife to pursue her nursing career, I ultimately decided I wanted to merge my two passions. I created Crimson Drafting and Design, LLC out of a desire to make others' ideas useful.

Experience
I possess extensive experience in the customer service industry and CAD industry. I have 10+ years in CAD and 4 years in manufacturing. I am certified in Project Management and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama.
